Trainings card

When you teach is good for the student to have some insight in their own progress. How much do (or should) they know before the next test. And is it possible to relate their progress to the ammount of times they practice? This card is made for the student and parent. This way it’s easy to see how much progress they make.

In essention the card is their examination list, plus it shows you how often someone comes to class. On the card is also written what the teacher will be looking at when you’re doing examination. (3 topics).

Items on the card:

  1.
Explanation and (3) focus points for their examination

  2. All techniques they need to know for that grading
  3. Checkbox, blue is regular, orange can be checked by a senpai, green by sensei (possible)

  4. Class attendance
How does it work?

You have a normal class, and right after class you let your students visit Senpai to hand out a stamp (for their pressence) and let him cross of the techniques of the class. (If it’s not on the card, you don’t have to know it for your exam.)

Every 3 weeks you can have a senpai check this means a senpai will look at your progress and check if you do the technique correct. (If you want) you can apply the rule when a senpai checked all the techniques on the card twice, you will be ready for examination.
At an examination kids have to bring their card, since there is a place to write feedback on the card. Usually this is something for after the first examination. So the examinors can read what this person has to improve on. And did he?

Tip: Instead of just crossing of names of techniques, you can ask the student what they have been doing that class. (Testing their memory)
