This is a variation for those who have a tatami without ‘tatami lines’ / rows. All you need is an obi or two markers (like flipflops). You make 3 area’s in the dojo. First is called ‘Ai’, second ‘Ki’ and thirth ‘Do’. When you tell the group to go to ‘Do’ they have to run to the third ‘Do’ part. To make it harder, you say more than one part; so call for ‘Ai-ki-do-ki’ or ‘Ai-ki-ai-do’.
Variation: When you have more markers, see counting tatami’s
Learning: Ai-ki-do is fun!
Tip: Try other ways of moving from one area to on other
